oh saturday!
today is another tiring-but-great saturday. catched up with an old friend we used to go to same primary school. shared a lot of life lessons. did my monthly routine. window shopping. had indonesian food for lunch. had some chit-chat with my mom and sista.
however, i'm getting bored and bored in every weekend. don't know where to go.
well, next week perhaps i'm gonna at home most of the day because of the assignment and upcoming first round exam.
radiohead-optimistic
Flies are buzzing around my head
Vultures circling the dead
Picking up every last crumb
Big fish eat the little ones
Big fish eat the little ones
Not my problem give me some
You can try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
(x2)
This one's optimistic
This one went to market
This one just came out of the swamp
This one dropped a payload
Fodder for the animals
Living on an animal farm
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
(x2)
I'd really like to help you man
I'd really like to help you man.....
Nervous messed up marionette
Floating around on a prison ship
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can

i'm starting to be tired. but still optimist
well, it's been quite long time i haven't updated my bloggie. since last week, the uni stuff has struggled my mind. trying to settle in, but still can't. maybe later.
firstly, i'm so frustated at first when the lecturer explained some materials that i didn't understand, and all of you must know that it needs more and more logical thinking. i didn't use to it before. the same thing also happened to some of my friends. huh. i'm still wondering why the standard of UoL is very berry high. unlike some others programme. one more thing, i don't have any special talents in academic english. so, it takes a few times for me to understand the meaning completely.
my desire in getting title for diploma graduates has disappeared softly. a little left. but not much hope. my goal in the nearest time is i have to pass all the subject on first round test 12-14 october 09. wish me luck!
nothing i can say about college life
this week is when all college stuff becomes wilder and wilder than previous week. homeworks everyday, complex materials, even tutorials twice a day plus 2 1/2 hours lecture all in one. i could say that schooling system in indonesia is much different with in singapore. However, I used to do the memorising methods but that learning style is not compulsory here. Well, critical thinking is very necessary, but i didn't use to it so i have to adapt so much more things in my first few months here. In few weeks later, i will have to prepare myself for test round 1 which will be held on october 12-14. but, i feel relieved because after those exams, i'll be able to see my family come here. yipee!
In addition, lee minho (boys before flowers' main cast) is coming to singapore to promote etude products!! i'm still looking forward whether i will come or not because of those such exams.
finally!!
finally what i've been looking for has come!
iPhone 3Gs damn rocks
yesterday when i opened my email account there's an exciting news about it. So, immediately i texted my cousin and surely it surprised him too.
waiting about 1 1/2 hours then we went together to singtel main branch at taka orchard. obtained a queue number and 1 hour later we've got it! yeah!
my cousin' friend called him and guess what: he said that he was running out of stock so he had to register again. phew..
my purse is getting thinner and thinner..
this week is the spend-much-money-for-binding week. everyday go to the campus supplies for binding those notes and tutorials. huh!
around $15 spent counted from monday crap! the real college life has just started with such confusing timetable. we're gonna start the different class begin next week. i don't like it. especially this friday morning, my lecturer impressed very badly.
however, i found studying overseas is kind of refreshments. when there's other new things and places to explore at. and surely no one supervise me hahaha! but believe me, i will be still straight!
somehow, i'm more willing to shop on food rather than clothes, bags, etc. that's my style of saving :)
anything is real expensive here so be selective when you're in singapore.
How we love bugis street!
cheap stuffs everywhere gosh! luckily I could limit my expenses today :) only reached around 20 dollars.
i must bring my mom and sis to bugis. when they will be spoilt for choice.
